Matthew McConaughey

He was born on November 4, 1969 in  a small town of Ulwad, which is located in America. 

McConaughey had his first early success as an older guy who hangs out with high school kids in Richard Linklater’s comedy Dazed and Confused (1993) and followed up with supporting roles in Angels in the Outfield (1994) and Boys on the Sidelines. (1995). In 1999, McConaughey made headlines for his comic arrest for disturbing the peace and possession of cannabis: he was found at his home playing loud naked bongos late at night. While accepting the ensuing ridicule, McConaughey starred in one of his most popular films, “The Wedding Planner” (2001). His career culminated with the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in “Dallas Buyers Club” (2013) and an unforgettable supporting role in “The Wolf of Wall Street” (2013) by Martin Scorsese. He went on to star in Nolan’s sci-fi drama “Interstellar” (2014) and to rave reviews as the philosophical cop in the first season of the TV drama s “True Detective” (HBO 2014).
