Christos Chomenidis is a Greek novelist, who was awarded the European Novel Prize in 2021.
Born in August 1966 in Athens, Christos Chomenidis graduated from the Law School. In 1993 he published SOFO PAIDI, which was received with glowing reviews. This was followed by eleven other novels and dozens of short stories, which were translated into French, English, Spanish, Czech, Lithuanian, Turkish and Hebrew. Niki was awarded the Anagnostis Novel Prize, the State Literature Prize and the European Novel Prize (Prix du Livre Europeen). In spring 2017 Niki was brought to the theatre under the direction of Stamatis Fassoulis. His latest novel O JIMIS STIN KYPSELI was published in September 2021. In 2015, readers honoured NIKI and in 2019, PHOINIKA with the Public Novel Prize.
